JioMart serves 200 million users across Tier 1, 2, and 3 India — different devices, different literacy levels, different expectations. The product design challenge isn't elegance. It's clarity at impossible scale. Every pixel decision affects conversion for someone in a city and someone in a village simultaneously.

Designed for the bottom 20% of devices without punishing the top 20%. Large tap targets, high-contrast text, iconography that works without labels, and a cart flow that completes in under four taps. Every friction point was mapped, measured, and removed.

Checkout completion rate improved by 18% after the cart redesign. The new product page template increased add-to-cart taps by 22%. More critically: the changes held across all device segments — performance gains in Tier 3 matched Tier 1, which is the hardest thing to achieve in mass-market product design.
